We have implemented a range of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID 19.
Limiting access to renovation site to essential tradespeople involved in activity on the given day
Applying the 1 person per 4 square metre rule for building work being undertaken in enclosed or internal spaces
Adopting the 1.5 metre social distancing requirements at all times
Keeping any person displaying cold, flu or similar symptoms away from site until the symptoms have passed or a negative test is provided to Northern Rivers Bathroom Renovations.
Enforcing the 14 day self-isolation policy for anyone returning from overseas
keeping any person who has been in close contact and required to self-isolate away from the renovation site
Providing the home owner with an outline of all COVID-19 site safety measures
Having ongoing and open discussions with clients on key issues such as scheduling, tradespeople, site safety
Scheduling sub-trades and work to minimise people on site at any given time
Provide adequate cleaning products on site
Implementing regular hand-washing
Regularly cleaning and disinfecting of any common work zones with occupants i.e. door handles, taps etc
If possible, increasing ventilation where internal work is being undertaken
Minimise dust, waste build up and removal of waste to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for homeowners while work is carried out
Where possible, communicating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers etc by phone and email
Going contactless as far as possible with orders and site deliveries
Maintaining work site operation times that coincide with when home owners are off-site (where possible)
Undertake phone. email or text site inductions prior to permitting anyone on site
Update homeowners, sub-contractors, and workers of any government updates that requires changes to the way work is to be carried out.
